Thursday Discussion: Cover crops and reduced tillage

Sorry, the 2020 event is complete. Please plan to join us next year!

An in-depth discussion of organic reduced tillage and intensive cover crop practices

In this preconference session we summarized the body of research regarding organic no- and reduced-tillage. We heard from farmers who have successfully implemented and pushed the envelope regarding reduced tillage strategies on their farms (and some failures as well!). Equipment, cover crop selection and production, and rotation strategies were discussed, among other topics of interest to the group.

The event was held from 3:00 pm – 9 pm on Thursday January 23, 2020. Dinner and a cash bar from 5:30 – 7 pm.

This registration is separate from the general OGRAIN conference, but we encourage everyone to also register for the OGRAIN 2-day conference.

Thursday preconference $20 fee

Sorry, there will be no walk-ins, preregistration is required. This event was held at The University Club, 803 State Street, Madison, WI 53703
