First of all … What is Kernza?

Kernza is the first commercially developed perennial grain crop that not only benefits the soil, but also helps clean water with its deep root system. A cousin to wheat, Kernza was developed by the Land Institute as a revolution in agriculture, and is beginning to become discovered by chefs, bakers, and brewers. Kernza Fest will explore the ways this grain can be used in sustainable and delicious ways!
